Scholarship Requirements
- Eligibility Requirements: The Bill Gates Scholarship, also known as the Gates Scholarship, is a highly competitive scholarship program awarded to outstanding, minority students from low-income backgrounds. In order to be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements: 1. Must be a high school senior from a minority background (African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and Hispanic American) 2. Must be a US citizen, national, or permanent resident 3. Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale 4. Must demonstrate leadership qualities and community involvement 5. Must have a household income at or below the Federal Pell Grant eligibility criteria 6. Must plan to enroll full-time in a four-year degree program at an accredited US college or university in the fall following the selection year
