Scholarship Requirements
- - Must be a student member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) - Must be enrolled in a graduate program in petroleum geology or a related field - Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident - Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) or equivalent - Must demonstrate academic excellence in the geosciences - Must be conducting research in the field of petroleum geology or related field - Must have a well-defined research proposal - Must have a faculty advisor who is a member of AAPG - Applicants may only receive the grant once in their academic career - Funds may only be used for research expenses or travel related to research
