- - Level of study: Undergraduate or postgraduate - Descent: Applicants must be of Goan descent, with at least one parent or grandparent from Goa - Academic excellence: Applicants must have a minimum overall academic score of 60% - Membership requirements: Applicant or one of their parents/grandparents must be a member of the British Council Library in India - Must be a citizen of India - Must demonstrate strong leadership potential and community service - Must have a strong financial need - Must have obtained admission to a recognized UK institution - Must have not previously received GET scholarship - Preference will be given to applicants studying in fields related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and Arts & Humanities.
