Admission Requirements
- The student must have graduated from an undergraduate degree in accounting from an accredited US business school.
- The program requires at least a 3.25 GPA overall and a 3.25 GPA in upper division accounting courses.
- Alternatively, the student may have graduated from NMSU's undergraduate accounting program with at least a 3.25 GPA overall and a 3.0 GPA in core upper division accounting classes.
- A recognized professional accounting credential, such as CPA, CMA, CIA, or CFE, is also accepted for admission consideration.
- Applicants with a post baccalaureate degree from an approved, US AACSB-accredited university must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in graduate coursework.
- Admission to the program is contingent on the applicant's undergraduate record.
