Admission Requirements
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.75 on undergrad transcript OR overall GPA of 2.50 to 2.74 and 3.0 on 6 hours of required grad coursework at Northwest
- Valid teaching certificate OR enrolled in an alternative certification program OR 2 years prior teaching with valid certificate
- Successful completion of another Master's Degree from regionally accredited institution with at least 2.75 GPA OR national board certification
- Score of 3.5 or higher on analytical writing measure of GRE OR successful completion of nationally normed educational performance assessment (MoPTA, EdTPA)
- Department analytical writing assessment with score of 4.0 or higher, evaluated using writing scoring guide based on modified CUNY scales.
