Admission Requirements
- Submit Application for Admission: freshman applicants may apply using our streamlined NSU Shark Select International Application or the Common App.
- Submit Secondary School or Postsecondary Credentials: you will need to send original or certified copies of your home country’s credentials as part of your application. You must also submit a copy of any terminating or qualifying examination results or certificates if applicable.
- Submit Proof of English Language Proficiency: we require proof of English proficiency from ALL students unless they are from these countries: Commonwealth Caribbean, Bermuda, Canada, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Australia or New Zealand. Exceptions can be made with Skype interviews.
- Submit Letter(s) of Recommendation: one letter of recommendation from a teacher is required, but you may submit up to a total of three letters.
- Application Flight Fee: All applicants are required to pay a non-refundable $50 application fee.
- Submit Resume/Curriculum Vitae: You will need to submit a current resume or curriculum vitae that outlines your educational and professional background, as well as any relevant experiences or achievements.
- Meet Minimum Academic Requirements: Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for admission consideration.
