Admission Requirements
- Completed undergraduate work in: mechanics, electricity and magnetism, thermodynamics, statistical mechanics, and quantum mechanics.
- Knowledge of mathematics including: calculus, ordinary differential equations, Fourier series, vector analysis, and basic elements of partial differential equations.
- Recommended to take Verbal and Quantitative GRE General Tests.
- Optional Physics GRE Subject Test.
- Admissions may not be affected by deficiencies in undergraduate preparation and can be made up during the first year of graduate study.
- Submit: appropriate application fee, academic transcripts, resume or CV, letters of recommendation, test scores, writing sample, personal statement/statement of professional goals/biographical statement, portfolio/audition recording.
