- Baccalaureate degree in physics or related field (chemistry, math, engineering)
- Degree must be from regionally accredited college or university
- Students without a physics major must have taken 2 calculus-based physics courses
- In addition, must have taken at least 2 upper-level physics courses
- Students without degree in physics or adequate preparation may need to take remedial courses and/or additional 500-level electives
- Case-by-case analysis will determine remedial courses and/or additional electives
- Minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.00 required for full admission, 2.75 for provisional admission
