- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in fields such as mass communication, public relations, advertising, communication studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience approved by the program director.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.00 required for full admission.
- Conditional admission may be granted for GPA of at least 2.8.
- GPA calculations for admission based on last 60 credits of undergraduate and post-baccalaureate study.
- Courses beyond baccalaureate degree may be included in undergraduate GPA if upper division (300/400 level).
