- Minimum high school grade point average of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale, with weighting for AP, IB, and clearly indicated concurrent/dual enrollment courses
- Applicants from states outside Arkansas must meet general admission requirements
- Out-of-state applicants may be held to higher standards based on demand and enrollment capacity
- Test scores (ACT or SAT) required for Arkansas students applying for the Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship and Governor's Distinguished Scholarship
- Test scores also required for most scholarship opportunities at the University of Arkansas
