- Statement of Purpose
- Three (3) letters of recommendation. Letters should emphasize the applicant’s level of preparation for graduate study in Statistics
- A bachelor’s degree in statistics is not required for the M.S. program, but applicants should have taken at least 12 quarter courses in substantial upper division quantitative work, including, but not limited to, courses in statistics, mathematics, computer science, and electrical engineering
- M.S. applicants must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.2 in their upper division courses
- GRE – The Official General Test from ETS
- Foreign applicants must submit original transcripts and English translations (if applicable), TOEFL or IELTS scores, and a Confidential Financial Statement.
