Admission Requirements
- Baccalaureate major in biological science or equivalent training in Plant Science curriculum
- Welcome majors in physical sciences, but must be willing to take additional courses in biological sciences
- Good basic preparation in chemistry and biology
- Completion of courses in biochemistry, organic chemistry, cell and molecular biology, elementary college mathematics, general physics, general botany, microbiology, statistics, genetics, plant physiology, mycology, and plant pathology
- No longer require GRE for admission
- Candidates must have at least an M.S. or Ph.D. degree
