- Online application for admission
- Minimum overall GPA of 2.75 and 3.00 in last 60 hours attempted, or a 3.00 overall GPA
- Submission of official transcripts from all accredited institutions attended, including undergraduate and graduate degrees
- Completion of at least 24 undergraduate hours in physics and mathematics through differential equations
- Completion of any prerequisite courses, if applicable
- Submission of graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores, with a recommended combined verbal and quantitative score of 305
- Two letters of recommendation required
- Approval from the Engineering Physics Admissions Committee.
