Admission Requirements
- Application for the program 'Information Science' is required.
- Please note, there is a $50 application fee for domestic applicants and a $70 application fee for international applicants.
- A Personal Essay is required and should be between 250-650 words in length.
- A Writing Supplement is also required and should be between 250-650 words.
- One academic letter of recommendation is needed for your application.
- High school or secondary school transcripts are required for admission.
- If you are a first-year student graduating from high school, it is not mandatory to submit ACT or SAT scores. However, you may choose to provide them for consideration.
- If you are a foreign national, you will need a temporary immigration visa from the United States to enter the country for the program. The most common types of visas for students at the University of Colorado Boulder are F-1 student visas and J-1 exchange visitor visas for international students.
- Please also note that English proficiency test scores are required for non-native English speakers.
