Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited US institution or a comparable degree from an international institution in biochemistry, chemistry, physics, or one of the biological or medical sciences is required
- Undergraduate GPA of 3.0 out of a 4.0 scale in the last 60 semester hours is required
- Substantive laboratory experience that demonstrates commitment and talent for research is necessary for a successful candidate
- Completion of a rigorous undergraduate curriculum including courses in biology, chemistry, physics, and math is preferred for successful applicants
- English proficiency test score (TOEFL, IELTS) is required for those whose native language is not English, or whose undergraduate instruction was not in English
