- Hold a bachelor's degree in civil and environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program or recognized international institution
- Provide a statement of purpose (1,000 words or fewer) including technical areas of interest, coursework focus, research experience, professional goals, desired faculty mentors, and other relevant qualifications for graduate study
- Submit three letters of recommendation
- Non-native English speakers must have a TOEFL score of 580 (written) or 92 (Internet version)
