Admission Requirements
- Must have a bachelor's degree in geology, a related earth science, or a relevant field
- One year of college chemistry, physics, and calculus is required
- Candidates must meet the minimum admission requirements of the Graduate School
- Students in paleobiology can replace calculus requirement with statistics courses
- Undergraduate degree in geology must include completion of a 6-8 credit geologic field mapping course
- Equivalent coursework may be considered for admission to the program
