- All non-native English-speaking applicants must provide evidence of English language proficiency
- Prospective students who have studied outside of the U.S. must provide an official course-by-course external credential evaluation
- A $70 state-required application fee
- Admission to the M.S. program requires a sponsoring faculty adviser who will serve as a thesis adviser
- Students with limited training in one field may need to complete basic education in the alternate field prior to full admission
- If an appropriate adviser is found after admission, program may be changed to M.S.
- Students without a faculty adviser may be considered for the Master of Environmental Studies (M.Envs.) degree program.
